Details

Model 7339 Cat5e 10/100/1000BASE-T Full/Half-Duplex RJ45 A/B Automatic Fallback Switch with 10/100 BASE-T Remote Port and GUI

Doubles the reliability of data throughput in critical network applications.

The PathWay® Model 7339 CAT5E 10/100/1000BASE-T RJ45 A/B Automatic Fallback Switch with 10/100 Base-T LAN Telnet Access and GUI, allows the user the capability of sharing a single port interface device connected to the "COMMON" port among two other devices connected to the "A" and "B" ports with remote access functionality. Remote Control access can be accomplished using an Ethernet 10/100-Base-T connection and either Telnet commands or Graphical User Interface (GUI).

When in automatic fallback mode the unit monitors data activity on ports A and B. If activity is lost on A, the unit checks for data on Port B and in the presence of data, switches to position B. The Model 7339 data switch will maintain its connection to port B until data activity is detected on port A, at which time the unit will automatically return to theA position. If no data is present on either port A or on port B, the unit will stay in the A position and continue to monitor for data. The user can override automatic fallback operation from the front panel or GUI interface and force the unit to operate as an A/B switch.

Features:

Automatic switch to secondary line when no data is detected on primary line.
The switch ports are transparent to all data.
All pins of the RJ45 interface are switched.
Interface meets Cat5e performance.
All switched signals are passed via latching copper contact relays that maintain their position and continuity even in the event of a power loss or failure.
Control of the switch position from a 10/100-Base-T LAN Ethernet environment.
Remote Control Telnet command interface or Graphical User Interface that allow the user to control switch position, lockout front panel operations and obtain switch status.
Front panel LEDs display switch position, the switch mode (automatic fallback or manual) and power status.

Cables for the switch are available from stock!

APPLICATION: AUTO FALLBACK SWITCHING.
Auto-switch to backup channel B when data is lost on primary channel.
The Model 7339 switch monitors data activity on Ports A and B.

When the switch is in Automatic Fallback Mode, the device connected to the COMMON port will automatically switch to the B channel, when no data is detected on the A port. Once data activity returns to the A port, the switch automatically returns to the A channel.

The switch can be controlled remotely via the RJ45 remote port and accepts 10/100 Base-T Lan Ethernet. The switch can also be controlled using a graphical user interface.

Software Features:
For Graphical User Interface

Access User Interface via standard web browser.
Easy to use, simple point and click operation.
Remotely access to control or monitor the Model 7339 RJ45 A/B Auto Fallback Switch System.
Users can change the switch's IP address.
