The Poseidon Advantage is a greywater bio-digesting system. It receives greywater and digested the nutrients in the water with the aid of aerobic and anaerobic bacteria.
Once the nutrients have been removed from the water the greywater is filtered again and can then safely be used in a conventional irrigation or a drip irrigation system.

Due to its origin greywater naturally contain high levels of nutrients. These nutrients originate from the soaps, shampoos, and laundry detergents that are used while cleaning. As one washes oneself or one’s clothes it is these substances that wash away dirt (germs, sweat and soil), that naturally collect on one’s skin and clothes. Greywater is thus a combination of these three substances, fresh water, soaps and dirt. It is only in special applications that it necessary to treat greywater.
