In my opinion, this is the best combination there is for pure natural skin care! Unrefined is better than refined. Refining Shea Butter is usually done by bleaching and deodorizing it, neutralizing it with lye, and over-heating it to high temperatures, loosing most of the beneficial vitamins. We never overheat our Shea Butter in order to preserve the natural vitamins and minerals.
We make our Calendula Oil by infusing Calendula petals in Pure Olive oil in the sun for several weeks. Our whipped Calendula Shea is perfect for hydrating dry skin, wrinkles, and stretch marks. No fragrance is added, the scent is a natural nutty fragrance. The color is a natural light khaki color.
