Model 7251 Tri-Channel RJ45 A/B Switch with RS232 Serial Remote Control

The PathWay® Model 7251 Tri-Channel RJ45 A/B Switch with RS232 Serial Remote Control allows the user the capability of sharing a single port interface device connected to the COMMON port among two other devices connected to the A and B ports for each channel. Remote Control access can be accomplished using RS232 serial commands through the DB9 port.

Features:

Each of three channels allows access to two networks from one COMMON network or device.
Switches all 8 pins of the RJ45 interface.
All three channels switch simultaneously.
Local control via front-panel pushbutton.
Remote control port allows off-site monitoring and switch management.
The REMOTE port accepts RS232 Serial Data ASCII commands for switch position control and monitoring.
Front-panel pushbutton control can be locked out, remotely.
Front panel LED's display switch position and power status.
Retains last switch position even in the event of power loss and continues to pass data.
Rugged aluminum case provides EMI/RFI shielding.
Custom length RJ45 cables available for your switch installation.
