The QuickSwitch® Model 6302 Dual Channel LC Duplex A/B Switch with Telnet and GUI allows a device connected to the COM port access to the A or B port for each channel. Both channels are switched simultaneously. The switch may be controlled locally by manually operating the front panel pushbutton or remotely from the RJ45 Remote Control port located on the rear of the unit. Remote Control access can be accomplished using an Ethernet 10/100 Base-T connection and either Telnet commands or graphical user interface. The QuickSwitch® 6302 dimensions are 19"W x 1.75"H x 8"D.
Each of two channels allows quick connection to any one of two LC Duplex fiber optic networks from one computer.
MEMS-based mirror/prism switch technology supports Gigabit data rates.
Bit-rate and data transparent.
Both channels switch simultaneously.
All fiber ports are LC duplex, multimode, 50/125 micron and support a wavelength of 850 nm.
Local control via front-panel pushbutton.
Remote control port allows off-site monitoring and switch management.
The remote port accepts RS232 Serial Data ASCII commands for switch position control and monitoring.
Control of switch position from a 10/100 Base-T Ethernet environment.
Remote Control Telnet command interface or Graphical User Interface that allows the user to control switch position, lockout front-panel operations and obtain switch position.
Front-panel LED's display switch position and power status.
Secure Setup/Configuration access limited by password protection.
Retains last switch position in the event of a power loss and continues to pass data.
When power is restored, unit maintains its position and continues to pass data.
