The VRT014 has two options to activate the relay: 1.) a phone call and 2.) through a contact at the external input. The relay turns OFF automatically after a programmable relay timeout. Switches and sensors can be connected here. Thus, the switching function can also be manually triggered.
There are two ways in which the VRT014 can be configured: 1.) by connecting the device to a PC using a serial port interface and the using the VRT014 configuration software, 2.) by sending a SMS. In this case, the device sends a confirmation message when the remote configuration was successful.

Your mobile phone can become your remote control. You don't need the ordinary remote control any more, because you will be able to open your barriers and doors with your cell phone. There are no call costs as the device rejects all calls from authorised numbers. The VRT014 can be configured to fit the customer's needs. The administrator can edit the list of authorised phone numbers and the settings for relay. Up to 500 authorised phone numbers can be stored in the memory of the device.
