Six-Channel System Switch: Model 7146
The PathWay® Model 7146 network switch has six Normal/Bypass switch functions. Model 7146 is packaged in a rackmount enclosure with dimensions of 2U high (2U is 3.5") x 19 inches wide x 8 inches deep.

Twenty-four RJ48 connectors, one Remote Control connector and one Power connector are on the rear panel. Each switch channel is able to be switched singly or all channels as a group. Only one power supply is needed.

The Model 7146 6-Channel Normal/Bypass Switch, E1 Interface with Remote allows the user the capability of accessing four separate devices per channel and setting each group of devices to a pre-determined configuration based on whether the channel is set to Normal or Bypass. Each switch may be controlled manually via a front panel pushbutton or remotely from an RS232 serial port located on the rear of the unit.

Switch position status may be attained via the front panel LED display or the remote RS-232 serial port (DB9) located on the rear of the unit. All 8 pins of the RJ48 are switched.
