Model 7006 Remotely Controllable Cat 5 RJ45 A/B/Offline Switch Module

The PathWay® Model 7006 Remotely Controllable Cat 5 RJ45 A/B/Offline Switch Modules can be controlled locally or from a remote location. A pushbutton switch on the front panel of each module allows the user to locally control the switch function. An RS-232 CONTROL port on each module facilitates remote switching.

A computer or terminal device connected to the CONTROL port can activate the remote mode of operation. When the proper instructions are received, the unit will switch the prescribed port to either A, B, or secure Offline.
