Cybernet’s new iOne-MP172 all-in-one PC has been certified to meet the standards of IP65, and also UL60601-1, and EN60601-1 for use in medical environments. This design is somewhat unique: it is fanless, which reduces noise and increases the system's overall reliability. In addition to reducing noise, the fanless design means that there is no intake for air or particulates that would ordinarily be drawn into the computer. This makes the unit ideal for a busy factory floor where there is dust or debris. Because the unit doesn't affect normal air circulation or quality, it's also suited for sterile medical environments. Like the iOne-MP171, the unit's front bezel is waterproof and dustproof to facilitate cleaning without damaging the PC.
