The QuickSwitch® 6287 Fiber Optic Multimode SC Duplex AB Switch with 10/100 BASE-T LAN Access allows the user the capability of accessing two separate Fiber Optic networks or devices, ports A & B, via connection through a network or device connected to the COMMON port. The Model 6287 employs Micro Electro Mechanical System (MEMS) based multimode switches. Switch position status may be attained via front panel LEDs or the remote Graphical User Interface software via the Remote LAN port.

MANUAL/LOCAL OPERATION
Manual control is accomplished by simply depressing and releasing the front panel pushbutton to change the switch position. On the front of the switch are the following controls and indicators.

A, B INDICATORS - LED'S indicate the switch position of each channel. The LED's in the steady state indicate the position of the switch. A green LED indicates the current switch position while a red LED indicates the unselected position.
