OEL Structure Wear is a base layer clothing line (we currently have created t-shirts, long underwear, and socks) that is designed to help regulate the wearer's body temperature during any physical activity. The product contains phase change materials (PCMs) that are built in to the fabric, which constantly interact with the wearer's skin temperature to provide a buffer against temperature swings. Without getting too technical, PCMs are materials that can absorb, store, and release heat while the material changes from solid to liquid and then back to solid again. The clothing also contains antimicrobial technologies that work to suppress odor causing bacteria. Similar to other wicking fabrics, our clothing also contains built-in moisture wicking agents that help the wearer to stay dry once sweat production occurs. Heat management, odor management, and moisture management all in one garment.
