The SEED automatically and completely cuts off power to the connected device after it has been turned OFF (or in Standby mode) for 5 minutes.
This eliminates the extra energy drawn from "energy vampires" while they are shut off. "Energy Vampires" include equipment such as computer monitors, TV's, DVD players, and Audio Systems.
