SMP-WEB4 supports most popular web languages and HD content (1920x1080 for image files, and 1280x720 for HD video). The player can playback Flash® animation, HTML web page, video, image, and text. Without the zone number limit, you can display one full page digital poster or unlimited zones of content based on your design. It offers superior price/performance value on the market.

Real-Time Video

SMP-WEB4, which features an AV-in connection, can play real-time video by directly connecting to a TV tuner, DVD player, USB Camera (UVC compatible), etc. You can show TV programs, movies, and even surveillance video to enrich digital signage networks.

Flexible Platform for Extended Integration

SMP-WEB4 can be integrated with other external devices to meet requirements from diversified vertical markets. For instance:
- Touch Screen: easily extends to an interactive digital signage system incorporated with HID compliance touch screens.
- RS-232: supports turn on/off screens, adjusts brightness, and controls other devices, e.g. lamps or control panels.
- Mobile Phone: uses mobile phone (ex. iPhone) to change playlists

Instant Remote Diagnostics and Preliminary Maintenance

Administrators can easily check log records and some important indexes, such as CPU temperature, to perform troubleshooting remotely. Whenever an abnormal situation occurs, the self-repair mechanism (hardware watchdog timer) of SMP-WEB4 enables the system to restart automatically. Administrators can also choose to restore configurations or recover system immediately, whenever it is necessary.

Easy and Flexible Content Creation in Two Ways

Users can use CAYIN Skin Editor to define the size and the location of each zone in a multimedia mix of video, music, Flash, image, ticker, and clock. In addition, experienced web designers can also utilize any web-editing tool to create HTML pages with the greatest flexibility.

Multiple Ways for Content Update

Multimedia content can be updated manually by USB flash drive (offline), FTP, and Network Neighborhood. You can also use the CAYIN CMS server to update the player’s content automatically through LAN or the Internet based on the pre-set schedule.

Local and Central Scheduling

Administrators can edit a schedule directly on an individual SMP media player. They can also choose to centrally control multiple players in groups by a CMS server. After a playlist is edited, the player will playback multimedia content based on this pre-set schedule.

Energy Saving and Environmentally-Friendly

SMP-WEB4, utilized embedded technology, is equipped with a low power CPU/Chipset and reduces power consumption by 60% to 70%, compared to a PC.

SMP-WEB4 can even turn on and off remote screens immediately whenever it is necessary or based on a pre-set schedule. Volume can also be lowered automatically at night. One can control this by your pre-set schedule so that the volume being used will become more environmentally-friendly.
