This High Security, Versatile, Office Disintegrator is designed to destroy Optical Media such as CDs, DVDs, etc. as well as Punch ( Key ) Tape in accordance with NSA/CSS guidelines. In addition, the Model 250 is also capable of destroying official use only credit cards, I.D. badges and more. With it’s newly designed additional 7/8” x 1/2 ” feed opening, the Model 250 is also capable of destroying most standard “thumb” drives. Integrated with a 3/32” waste-sizing screen that comes standard with the unit, the Model 250 is tabletop design with a mounted one gallon Waste Collection Vacuum located on the side of the unit.. The system produces a final RANDOM waste particle that has been evaluated by NSA and meets the requirements of NSA/CSS Specification 04-01, Key (Punched) Tape Destruction Devices and NSA/CSS 04-02, Optical Media Destruction Devices. The Model 250 table top unit comes equipped with a 1 Gallon Vacuum Collection System. In addition, the Model 250 has two additional configurations: A Cabinet Mounted Version (Model 250C ) with the Waste Collection vacuum inside the cabinet and a unit integrated in a Deployment Case (Model 250DEP). Noise Emission: 80-85 dBA.
