The Proton Model 2495 provides the ultimate data destruction of optical media and assures Department of Defense secure destruction requirements are met. The Proton 2495 automatically destroys the optical plane of the disc and processes the optical plane into small (3/32” or 2.4mm) bits to obliterate all label data. On DoD/NSA approved list for optical media and label destruction.
