When it comes to complete and permanent removal of data on hard drives and other magnetic media, no other degausser can match the Mag EraSURE P3. This NSA listed and approved degausser is an ideal device for fast and secure degaussing of Hard Disk Drives (including Perpendicular Magnetic Recorded - PMR Drives), back-up tapes and other magnetic media containing confidential or highly sensitive information. Its Table top size makes it perfectly suited for field operation, in office environments or in most data-centers. The P3 (v.2) unit can be operated with a push button automatic method in a 15 second cycle time. The actual Degauss time is less than one second. Works with most desktop and notebook hard drives,even non-functioning drives. The Mag EraSURE P3 is fast, quiet, reliable and totally automatic. Rare Earth Permanent Fixed Magnets generate no heat so the P3 can be used continuously. Listed on NSA Approved Degausser Product List NSA/CSS EPL-9-12A-EMeets DoD requirements for degaussing all magnetically recorded data on hard disk up to 6,000 Oe and tape up to 2,800 Oe ( including LMR and PMR technology).
