The PathWay® Model 4406 RJ45 A/B Switch can share one RJ45 interface device between two the other devices. Control commands sent to the REMOTE port enable the user to switch between two separate RJ45 devices or to monitor the current switch status.

The switch may be controlled manually via a front panel pushbutton or remotely from the RS232 serial Remote port located on the rear panel. Switch position status is displayed by the front panel LEDs, or can be queried by the PC connected to the Remote RS232 serial port.

Model PathWay Model 4404 Features:
Remote monitoring of switch status from a PC running terminal emulation.
Switch position and signal integrity are maintained even during power failure.
Front panel LED indicators allow on site viewing of switch status.
Optional Windows compatible control software available.
