SOULJAH BOY imerged in the industry in 1995 when he was signed to the Bone Thugs n Harmony/ MoThug Family. His first project was on the quadruple platinum Bone Thugs n Harmony album "Art of War" where he was featured on the song "Wasteland Warriors". He then was featured on Krayzie Bones platinum album "Thug Mentality" where he featured with Krayzie on the song "Armageddon". His project was with the MoThug family with the gold certified album "Family Scriptures I" where he was on the single "Thug Devotion" with Layzie, Krayzie, Ken Dawg and Tre; "LowDown" which was his single that featured Krayzie Bone; and "Family Tree" with the entire MoThug Family. SOULJAH was also featured on another MoThug gold certied release "Family Scriptures II" where he was on "Mighty MoThug" which was his single that featured Layzie Bone, "Mighty Warrior" a single where he featured with Bone Thugs n Harmony. In 1998, SOULJAH was featured on a Ratti Records compilation "Midwest Funk" album; the song was "A Better Way to Die". SOULJAH made his screen debut in 1999 where he appeared in the blockbuster movie "Deep in da Game".
SOULJAH BOY left MoThug in 2000 and started his own independent label named Taliup Entertainment. He then began to build his label by releasing mix-tape CD's, performing,doing features for other artist and joint venture projects with other independent labels.
In 2009, SOULJAH and now wife Nicole Lyons launched Beatrilla Productions and signed several producers and engineers to supply music for the Taluip label. SOULJAH began working hard on his next project "Tearin Em Up" that will be released in early 2011. The artists that feature on this project are Bizzy Bone and Sinn (former MoThug artist).
SOULJAH started releasing singles from the album in July 2010 with "Celebrate" and "From Da Heart" which can be purchased at itunes,, zune, thumbplay and nokia.
