Artemide Absalom Floor Lamp - Floor standing luminaire in transparent structure with red dichroic filter.

The lamp is composed of a metal structure and a diffuser, a cylindrical transparent plexiglass. A single halogen source, positioned in the upper part of the stem, creates a dual light effect: an indirect upward emission and a diffused downward light; the latter is red colored by a dichroic filter; it's conducted along the surface of the transparent diffuser to the base where the light is reflected again towards the upper part by a polished chromed metal disk.
