Hand turned 5-pc linden wood nesting doll lacquered and painted in Ukraine. The main doll's apron is painted in a winter landscape with a young couple in traditional Ukrainian folk dress along with their horse. Inside the main doll you will discover sets of smaller dolls of Ukrainian girls in winter dress to a small snowman. Each pretty Ukrainian folk girl's head is covered with a wreath (venok) of flowers and a bright painted scarf in different colors. The dolls have a high glossy finish to accentuate the finely detailed artwork. It would make a nice piece to add to your collection of nesting dolls or as a starter to accent your home décor.
