The following features represent the Best Practices services offered by MPS Remedy:

Security:
To maintain protection and security of patient information, clinic billing data and administrative functions, users are divided, via their username and password.

The Remedy system includes a chronological, historic log of all user access, movement and viewing, regardless of his/her position,
authority or security level. The log records movement within the system in real time, to include time-stamped-to-the-minute access to all parts of the system, to include the IP address from which the access was made. The log is encrypted and archived
at weekly levels and is not restricted or deleted from future access.

Communications:
The Remedy system includes the HL7 protocol and conduit to receive Laboratory Reports from authorized labs. The system parses the encrypted data and deliver the said reports in a common readable format at no more than 5 minute intervals. The Lab reports contain a feature to allow the physician to record his review of findings and create a recordable Physician’s Order.

The system provides an exclusive section or depository which shall alert staff of arrival and contain the following:
Physician’s Orders: This document must be generated by the physician and seamlessly delivered to staff personnel with an alert to advise of its arrival. The Physician’s orders contain any and all possible instructions in a readable, auditable and recorded format. Physician’s orders, once completed by staff are stored in an individual patient record for easy retrieval.

Lab reports: All Lab reports are delivered to the staff alert depository for timely follow-up
Images / Documents: The Remedy system provides a method to transfer images and documents by authorized entities, directly to the alert depository. Delivered documents and images must be able and ready for immediate viewing, acknowledgment
by the attending physician and storage in the Patient Medical Record.

Storage: Remedy provides individualized space for each patient record, which itemizes the materials in storage for easy access and viewing. The system allows authorized users to access all documentation related to a patient on a visit-by-visit basis, as well as global storage.

Data Access: Remedy allows authorized users to access the entire database in
one page view. The viewable database sorts data by no less than fifteen (15) variable fields.

Navigation: Remedy provides simple, single click access to all major sections
and pages within the system. Patient data navigation allows the authorized user to access all major sections of a specific patient record with no more than two
clicks from the main page of the system. Access to past encounters of a specific patient is reached with no more than 3 clicks from the main page of the system. Access to patient records is reachable from any page within the system.

Scheduling: Remedy provides a scheduler, accessible from any internet connected
device. The scheduler allows for easy patient look-up by name, date of birth, SS number and medical record number. The scheduler allows customization by location, physician, treatment room and procedure room. The scheduler tracks the
source of each new patient and has the ability to maintain tracking information indefinitely. The scheduler is able to track no-shows, cancellations and rescheduled appointments. The scheduler is also able to generate reports of sortable data from past and future appointments, print labels for routing files and access a patient record with no more than one click from the scheduler.

Charting: Remedy offers at least three versions of EMR functionality. The
“self contained” EMR services the multi-specialty - internal medicine and orthopedic specialties. The modular EMR contains a method of tracking patient conditions on a linear, historic chart. It also provides historic data on past surgeries, diagnoses and treatments.

Procedural Charting/Billing: Remedy provides the ability to chart, code and process claims for out-patient procedures, time and materials, surgical, anesthesia and pharmaceutical.

Inventory: Remedy maintains a durable goods inventory management system.
The Remedy Inventory System is able to record and monitor use of inventoried items. The Remedy Inventory System is able to maintain at least the items in the following categories: Anesthesia, Med Surgical Supplies-General, Med Surgical Supplies-Sterile,
Pharmacy, Pharmacy-IV Solutions, Cardiology General, Laboratory General, Radiology, Supplies-Sterile, X-ray, Tray items, office supplies, collectibles, furniture and equipment. The Inventory System has the ability to record and store base costs of items, a formula for margin or markup to arrive at a calculated charge for services, procedures and treatment.

A serialized version of inventory maintains DME (Durable Medical Equipment) and other items tracked by serial number.

Patient Tracking: Remedy tracks the movement of a patient within the practice.
Tracking is accessible and viewable by all users within the system and displays the location of each patient, the practitioner they are waiting to see and the amount of time they have been waiting in each location.

Billing Administration: Remedy system provides a robust selection of reports, charts
and applications such as: Forms Administration, Apply Refunds, Billing Reset, Change Encounter Date, Claim Unlock, Deactivate Billing, Deactivate Patient, Facility / Location Administration, NPI Lookup, Payers Admin, Payment Edit, Physician Administration,
Region Administration, Service Locations Admin, Transcriptions/Documents Review Page, User Administration, Aging Report, Balance Due Report, Duplicate Patients Report, Insurance Pending, Patient Payment Pending, Payments Detail, Outstanding
Superbills, Non-billing Encounter Report, Enhanced Encounter Report, Procedure Frequency Report, No-show Report, Payment File Export, Electronic EOBs and Patient Analysis.

Dictation/Transcription: Remedy provides three electronic methods of document
creation and data entry to charts and forms. The system provides traditional dictation and transcription services with final documents delivered directly to the system for review and deposit to the patient record. The system provides the user the ability
to dictate and have charts, forms and other text areas populated by direct transcription.
The system allows all text areas to be compatible with voice recognition software equivalent to Nuance Dragon Medical 10.The system also offers an internal application to build and create documents electronically on a point and click basis for immediate production.

Records Portability: Remedy allows the sharing of patient data to systems
within the providers network, regardless of the size of the network. It shall also maintain a conduit with HL7 protocol to allow the transfer and sharing of patient records with third party systems not associated with the original providers network.
