Flap 1 Wall Lamp - Irregular Square, discrete presence, the light source is formed by Flap’s two overlaid metal surfaces which, thanks to a slight bend and the irregular overlay, provide a strong personality to a lamp of striking simplicity. When lit, the Flap wall light creates a new visual perception as there appear to be four surfaces.

Flap 1 wall light introduces new geometries and perspectives to an environment, with an effect similar to a contemporary painting or a luminous trompe l'oeil. It is available in three sizes, each one characterised by the special proportions that make every variation of Flap unique.

Flap is an ideal element for wall compositions, and when used in multiples it can create a unique and unusual light sculpture suitable for both residential and contract environments.

About the Designer
Architect, Marco Zito graduated under Vittorio Gregotti at the IUAV in 1994. Since 1996 he has been teaching in the faculty of Design and Arts of IUAV Venice and Industrial Design degree course of the San Marino University, as well as at the Industrial Design Centre of Montevideo (Uruguay), as invited lecturer.

He received many recognitions (Design Index ADI 2004, selected for "Steelon", Viabizzuno production; prize at "Batimat 2005" design for innovation trophy, Paris; the "lettere" illuminated system design, produced by Viabizzuno; Design Index ADI 2007, selection for "lettere", Viabizzuno production). The studio, in Venice, specialises in product design, interior design and architecture, collaborating with prestigious companies.
