I have the Dreambox 800 installation process, here I want to share it with you, so I hope it will useful for you. learn it and do it by yourself.

The installation process.

The first way is to connect the receiver to a router with DHCP server configured.

1 - Disconnect the power cable of the reciever,
2 - wait 15 seconds
3 - press and hold the power botton (receiver front) while pressing plug the power cable in few seconds DHCP and stop appears on the monitor now release.
The ip address appears on the monitor:

4 - open a browser on your pc
5 - type the ip address
6 - go to firmware update, select the file 800-75-440.nfi and flash it, when it finishes reboot the receiver.

If you don't have a router and no ethernet connection then you have to use serial port, in this case:

1 - download this file www.dmmtv.de/download/DreamUP.zip,
2 - connect the serial cable,
3 - disconnect the power cable (receiver off)
4 - run dreamup and press connect
5 - connect the power cable it should switch on and go in serial mode
6 - flash the image it takes like 2 hours to finish and then reboot

if it fails to connect you try to change the serial cable. and repeat the procedure.
